Jump-Start Your Creativity!

The Artist’s Way:
If you are stuck or if you are altogether too critical to even allow yourself to create; it is time. You are lacking the ability to fight off your inside critic and also the energy to discipline yourself into starting the process of awakening and allowing your creativity.
Awakening your creativity serves your entire life! When I say creativity, this does not only extend to artists, painters, sculptures, but also to writers, to dancers, to inventors.
The most important step is DOING. Yes, you will make or write unsuccessful things, but practice is what makes perfect, the important thing is to write, even though your critic or the people around you say “it doesn’t matter, nothing original comes out anyways.” You need to write or draw or paint everyday, and eventually those negative quips will quiet down.
If you are willing to put in the work and the time and allow help (such as the books below) to lead you on the process, your effort will manifest positive changes.
Give yourself the chance! Give your creativity a chance to flow out into your work, relationships, and creations. If you commit to it, like following the exercises in “The Artist’s Way,” you will break through! In addition, look to my other hub page, for some affordable art supplies to explore with as you embark on your journey through “The Artist’s Way.”
