Looking through Thinking Print: Books to Billboards, 1980-95 published by The Museum of Modern Art, New York, I came across Lorna Simpson’s work. Somehow it jarred my creative mind, what a concept! What other collections could you assemble on a wall together, I wonder…

A little tidbit about Lorna Simpson: “Born in 1960 in Brooklyn, New York. In photographic works using multiple images accompanied by text, explores such themes as identity, racism, and sexism, specifically involving complexities of life for black women in contemporary society.” – Thanks to Thinking Print.
